  • How many times will you tow me in a year?
    Sea Tow does not have a limit on the amount of FREE towing you can receive in one year.
 

 
 
  • Does Sea Tow provide year round assistance?
    Sea Tow, as part of the membership program, provides coverage 365 days and nights a year. Even in the winter here in Boston.
 

 
 
  • My marina is in Boston Harbor. Will Sea Tow get me home if I breakdown in Provincetown?
    Yes, as a Sea Tow member you are entitled to be towed back to your homeport, not only by the Sea Tow Franchise that covers your homeport area, but also from the adjacent Sea Tow Franchisees. Therefore, if you need assistance anywhere between Gerish Island Maine (Sea Tow Newburyports AOR) and Provincetown or the Cape Cod Canal (Sea Tow Cape Cod Bay's AOR) you can be towed back to your homeport. It's FREE!

  • What is my annual dollar limit?
    Sea Tow does not have an annual dollar limit. If you are disabled and need assistance Sea Tow will be there for you.
   

 
 
  • What if I break down at my home dock? Will you still tow me for free?
    Dock-to-dock tows are covered FREE, whether it's from your home dock, mooring or marina, tows to a local repair facility or ramp are FREE. You don't pay a thing [Please note: dockside jump starts are NOT covered].
 

 
 
  • If my brother uses my boat, is he covered?
    Sea Tow covers the specific primary vessel and any other vessel registered to the named member. The actual member doesn't have to be aboard. Since a boat is often used by many family members and friends, it doesn't matter who's on the boat. IT'S FREE! Just make sure they know to call Sea Tow and we'll come right out.
   

 
 
  • What if I just need fuel or a jump start? Do I still have to be towed?
    Our goal is to get you and your friends or family back underway as quickly as possible. If we can solve your problem on scene, we will. AND IT'S FREE!
 

 
  • How do I contact you?
    We encourage our members to call our 24 hour dispatch number for assistance (617) 567-8053 or (888) 2-SEATOW. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day by one of our in-house staff members, who have local knowledge of the area, promoting rapid response and resolution of our members needs. We also monitor VHF Channel 16 twenty-four (24) hours a day from April 15th to November 1st. If you cannot reach us by either of these means you can always call the U.S. Coast Guard, give them your position and ask them to contact Sea Tow Boston for you.
